Two years 4 months on from the onset of this campaign involving our biggest rescue ever the last two abused stallions have been castrated. It has been a long, difficult time for the Charity attempting to negotiate with the owner who has a life ban and refused to come to any agreement over their future. Finally, following over a year’s futile negotiations, the Trustees, legal advisers and veterinary surgeons decided that in the interest of both the public and staff safety the operation must take place. At last these beautiful, gentle ponies can start a new life of enjoyment and mixing with other ponies.
